We typically include 7-10 books in a variety of genres in every email. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean every reader gets an email with that many books shown, as readers will only see the books in their preferred genres.
Readers have 3-7 genres selected on average, so they’ll typically see 2-4 books in their email.
Readers who have subscribed and not selected any genre (about 1.3% of our list) will see every book.

No, we want Ravish to be a curated experience for romance readers, so we include more than just featured books. We regularly poll our audience and announce a trope, book boyfriend, or trigger of the week. We also featured reader confessions, a short article on a trending topic in the bookish space (like alpha heroes, cockygate, or the trademarking of “hot girls read”), a book recommendation from our personal TBR’s, free and discounted romance books, and a featured giveaway every week.
Readers select their preferred romance genres and favorite tropes at signup, and we include links throughout every email to help them easily keep their preferences up to date.
This means that your book is seen by a targeted segment of readers who have already expressed interest in your book’s genres and tropes.
Nope! We use special code to show or hide featured books depending on a readers’ genre and trope preferences. If a reader does not have selected for some reason (rare), they’ll see every book featured in the weekly email.
We used our email provider’s analytics to track opens and clicks for every email campaign, and reports are provided to authors who book a feature with Ravish. This report is sent around 2 weeks after your feature.
Automatic and bot opens and clicks are excluded from our reports.
