In the heart of Singsong City, Libby the Librarian, retired monster slayer and general worker in the magical library of antiquities wants nothing more than to live the rest of her life in the peace and quiet of the stacks. In the undercity, and directly beneath her magical library is the vampire scholar who makes her want to take up her stakes again. Maybe throw a few death curses.

But when a demon from her past resurfaces, she is drawn back into a world of danger and deceit. She’ll need the vampire’s help to unravel the mysteries of her own past before they consume her future.
